This month, Help Inc. will begin receiving thrice weekly food donations from the Walmart Supercenter in Elk City as part of a national campaign partnering Walmart locations with food shelves across the country. Because of Help Inc.’s affiliation with the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank, it was selected for this partnership. The increased food donations will quadruple what Help Inc. is able to distribute monthly.
“For the first time we will be able to distribute refrigerated items, such as dairy products, in bulk and have significantly increased the frozen meats we can serve our clients,” said Jim Rule, Help Inc. Board President.
